lentotanzman For me I discovered Heliophile on synth radio with the track Econocide, I was immediately hooked, I found the EP, got completely addicted to sackcloth saints, then I found tower's so tall, which I have shared with all my family and friends, I wish Heliophile all the success in the world, they are a brilliant band and they are very humble too, they don't mind talking to their fans....

Down on their knees, bled dry and broken Disparity of wealth, inferiority unspoken Skyboxes rise, high and foreboding Classes divided, society eroding Dignity defiled and kindness torn From tainted child a tyrant born As charity’s bribed with cash incentives Soldiers of fortune, their strikes are pre-emptive We’re outsourcing wars under the table Bomb shelters built for the wealthy and able Dignity defiled and kindness torn From tainted child a tyrant born I declare to the vain in your towers so tall If divided we stand, then united we’ll fall In the day, when it rained, it fell down on us all We call upon you to tear down this wall In the race for the wealth that so proudly you hail Take the fast lane to where commonality fails Before it’s too late we must all tip the scales A market society puts our souls up for sale

Permeate 03:56
Faint, the light in your eyes now You're safe, dragging your horrors behind Pain, does it make you blind now? To say, you feel more dead than alive And I reach out to pull you up And all of these walls that caved you in And all of your hopes they faded thin Pale, first sun in your eyes now We failed to find you somewhere to hide And all of these walls that caved you in And all of your hopes they faded thin And all of our warmth it grazed your skin All comforting words they rage within And all of these walls that caved you in And all of your hopes they faded thin And none of our words could raise your chin And so you pulled out the safety pin

Fall Over 03:55
Say, can you start a fire? Set me free from shame Kindle my desire Bursting into flames This callous heart's no giveaway You gotta make me fall over, fall over Before we get carried away You gotta make me fall over, fall over again Hey, are you what I require? Just let me ascertain Should I lead you to retire To where two can play this game This callous heart's no giveaway You gotta make me fall over, fall over Before we get carried away You gotta make me fall over, fall over again To be the sunlight of my day You gotta make me fall over, fall over The brightest star in my milky way You gotta make me fall over, fall over again Accomplished, heart of gold Ain't got me in a chokehold Warmhearted, yet so cool In charge and living to the full Bewitching seductress Won't settle for anything less With steadfast self-restraint And pride to go against the grain Bewitching seductress Won't settle for anything less Keeps stepping up her game To sing a part in this refrain

Awake, a slumbrous haze In this state my thoughts will race Ended my days as a grinding slave Got sick of riding the wave and Now and again you wonder how your spirit got so low Too damn easy to surrender to the flow Don't settle for doing okay Be hungry for the day Don't let your fate get in your way Be hungry for the day A frantic mental state When my plans can't seem to wait for dawn My brain waves oscillate Ideas accumulate and Now and again, you must seek to recirculate the flow The lifeblood that was drained so long ago

Gravitating aimlessly towards growing animosity Going from a stand-still to terminal velocity Static on our transmissions relayed across the great divide Breaching hull integrity, our connections have come untied Propelling you and me out of synchronicity Park our broken satellite Into graveyard orbit, in graveyard orbit Park our broken satellite, tonight Into graveyard orbit, in graveyard orbit Frail fractured vessel I discard, it’s time that it retired Our craft took to the skies, but our rockets have misfired Now left in disregard to space’s lifeless choir, we expire Pushed out to the sun in another space-time continuum Ensuring your tantrums are smothered in a vacuum If you linger here, your frozen tears would collide Away from my periphery your fragments I cast aside Keeping the debris out of my trajectory We have expired

Echo Chamber 04:38
Sing to me, it is the same old song When no uncertainty survives But all the facts went wrong Sing to me, strike the reverberant gong In this encasement falsehoods thrive Disinformation's born It's lather, rinse, repeat Distort until complete Through tribalism we always seem to regard it as true Suppress, withhold the files Insurgent voice exiled If all comes out in time, they'll just say an apology's due The echo chamber calls It bounces off the walls, it is a lie But we're so comforted by our certainty The truth remains unseen We're cogs in the machine They lead the blind Only shadows we'll find Of what once was real “Once the wheels are set in motion, it becomes nearly impossible for people to accept new facts that refute the rumour. And it is through this mechanism that even the slightest hints of economic decline become self-fulfilling prophecies.” Sing to me, it is the same old song So little subtlety survives And all the facts went wrong The echo chamber sounds Convenient culprit found The buckets full of blame are in place above the drop zone We need not be concerned Our prejudice confirmed We elbow through the crowd to try to cast the first stone “Your internet browsing experience is highly personalised. Any opinions conflicting with your own are filtered out”

So impassioned they sway to the singing of strings They waltz in a tangerine glow They say it's just play, but somehow it stings In my mind the image is frozen You take this broken dance That I avert my eyes from I wait here in the cold Until another day comes You take this broken dance The beating of the bodhrán Has put my heart on hold I die with every harp strum You take this broken dance So entangled we lay in the quarters of kings We watch the tumbling snow A celestial display, but love lost its wings ‘Cause in my mind the enchantment is broken Caresses in the masquerade, they're served in spades They spiral, a devouring swarm It' s your embrace of those in my place My rivals and their hungry arms
10.
Keep your pace, adverts shout, leave your doubts in the bygone Just a face in the crowd, he stood out as an icon Hail to the educators You're right, but your truth's no purpose in jail No regret you gave us Just spite for your views impervious We pay to paint a brighter day, you say a thousand invocations A solemn proclamation We hate, to validate to close the gates, preserve our civilisation The splendour of the nation Set the stage, play the crowd, sell them out to your rival Collect the wage, keeping count, lost and found, for survival Vain are the educators White lies brought knives to gunfights Obtain freedoms they forbade us Black ties dictate, shoot on sight Keep your pace, adverts shout, leave your doubts, a disciple Set the stage, play the crowd, sell them out to your rival Vain are the educators, white lies, black ties, shoot on sight
11.
I am your ghost ride, I am the secret that you hide You invite me inside Behind your cold eyes I cannot tell truth from lie I'm your clandestine tonight Where we walk we tread lightly, leaving not too deep a mark Our footsteps will wash away when the final storm comes Your door is half open, your engine runs outside We're dancing on the edge of a knife And when I fall who will hear me scream When the time comes, there will be calm after the storm When the time comes, there is no loss left to mourn When the time comes, the ties that bind are torn When the time comes, your bed will still be warm I am your train between stations, the deputy between your sheets To strike up a conversation and sustain your fleshly deeds You treat me like a stranger, so you can make me disappear I put my heart in danger, took the plunge, ignored the fear
